CrEDo: Creativity Hub for Upskilling Educators of Displaced Learners
The project “CrEDo: Creativity Hub for Upskilling Educators of Displaced Learners” aims to improve the creative, emotional intelligence and intercultural skills of educators, integration facilitators and volunteers working with displaced learners for addressing their learning, social and emotional needs. CrEDo provides adult educators with a comprehensive training programme, practices, tools and training to help them create inclusive classrooms, develop new teaching approaches to meet complex needs of displaced learners and apply creative means to stimulate motivation, participation and learning achievements. CrEDo is tapping into the potential of creativity for rendering educational content through multidisciplinary art activities creating a safe place for self-expression, helping refugees to feel seen and heard, increasing their self confidence, building group cohesion, acting out migration stories, talking across differences, inspiring participation, etc.
The project is funded under the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2024-2026.
Objectives:
- To improve the skills and competences of educators, integration facilitators and volunteers working with displaced refugees
- To develop creative, emotional intelligence and intercultural skills of educators for addressing specific learning, social and emotional needs of displaced learners
- To strengthen the resilience and self-reliance of displaced refugees and support their socio-economic inclusion
- To promote the role of art as a valuable tool in dealing with complex social/psychological issues and especially in the psychosocial support of displaced refugees
Outcomes:

Training programme for educators of displaced learners, for improving the creative, emotional intelligence and intercultural skills of educators to successfully engage with displaced learners through the application of creative means

CrEDo board game as a multidisciplinary creative task-based tool for educators of displaced learners to create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment through recreational and play-based activities

Transnational training and national Creativity Training Labs to equip educators with the skills and resources necessary to effectively integrate creativity-based and trauma- and culturally-sensitive learning into their teaching practices with displaced learners
